A little about Ethan.....
Ethan was born on July 4th, 2009 (6 weeks early) to Jennifer and Jon Smith and was diagnosed with CF on August 7, 2009. His parents were completely shocked but determined to do everything in their power to keep him healthy. Since then they have learned how to give medications both orally and inhaled, perform CPT (Chest Physical Therapy) and focus on nutrition. Their wonderful family and friends have been so supportive of them and it is their hope that they can call on those wonderful people to contribute to and participate in this all important fundraiser for research. There are many promising treatments that are in development that could help correct the mutated gene that causes CF. Help their baby boy and CF'ers all over the world!!

Now that you know a little about this awesome little dude and CF, let's get on to the party!
Our crop theme is 'Go Green for Great Strides!'. This will be a regular scrapbooking crop but for those that do not scrapbook, we have room for you too! We have crafters from all areas such as sewers, beaders, knitters, painters and more so no matter your craft, we'd love to have you!
The party starts at 10am. We will have refreshments and snacks available all day. Lunch will consist of sub sandwiches and will be served at 1pm. Dinner will be catered in from Milky Moo's soups at 6pm.
All throughout the crop we will have games, prizes, a contest or two, make 'n takes, demos, secret sales and more.
We will also be having a Silent Auction with lots of great items to bid on!
We are also implementing a NEW item for our crop......Crop Cards! These cards will enable you to rack up the discounts on all your purchases during the crop. The Go Green for Great Strides card points are as follows:
Bring the following items to the crop and get up to 20% off your total purchase during crop hours!

5pts - Bring someone who has never attended a Scraperience Crop before.
5pts - Bring a small bag of chocolate/candy or snack (chips, pretzels, crackers, etc) to share.
1pts - 5-6 empty, clean (non-damaged) toilet paper rolls.
1pts - Clean, unwrinkled cereal box front and back.
1pts - A couple of very well used dryer softener sheets.
1pts - Soda pop can tabs (8-10)
1pts - Manilla file folders (old, used is fine but no rips or tears)
and 1pt for every COMPLETED project during crop hours - up to 5pts!
As always, our crop space is limited to the first 12 registrations. The fee for the entire day, everything included, is $25. Payment in full is required upon registration. Once the crop is full, registrations will be closed but we will have a waiting list in case of any last minute cancellations.
