Wednesday's Secret Sales....

So, I totally forgot to put the Secret Sales in the last post.  Blame that on the rush of the Holidays!  Or me just being totally absentminded.

Wednesday's Freebie and Secret Sales!

Just 5 more days until Christmas!  Are you ready?

Today's freebie with $15 purchase is this cute Tag in a Bag kit.  This would make a cute tag on a gift bag or as an embellishment in a layout!

Everything is already cut, inked and pre-stamped for you.  This project features Little Yellow Bicycle's Elizabeth Park line (one of my personal faves), Kaisercraft rhonestones and flowers and a Stampin' Up stamp.

Tag in a Bag Instrutions:
Start by removing all the pieces for your kit from the brown bag, but make sure to keep the brown bag folded flat.  We will assemble the red tag first as this is the main piece of the kit.



Take the butterfly strip that has already been chalked with black cats eye pigment ink and apply it down the center of your red tag, like so. This is the back of your tag.

Flip your tag over and glue down the blue with green polka dotted paper, layer the stamped (I used the Stampin' Up Friend stamp) and pre chalked blue flower strip.  Because this tag goes inside the bag, I left all my pieces flat so they wouldn't get caught sliding into the bag.  Once everything is placed where you like and attached to the red tag, place your triple layer flower in it's desired position.  Then tie the white ribbon strip to the top.

And you should have a tag that looks like this....



Now it's time to decorate our bag.  For the backside of the bag, we are going to attach the two pre-inked green strips to the left and right side of the words strip.  You will notice one of the strips already has three graduated crystals from Kaisercraft on it.  I chose to put those on the top left.  You can put them on the bottom right if you choose.

Flip the bag over.  The white strip goes down first and then the pre-inked blue pattern strip goes on top.  Again, we have a piece with Kaisercraft rhinestones here.  I put mine on the bottom because my flower is on top (as you will see in the final pic).



Place your flower on the opposite corner from where your rhienstones are.  Thread the silver tinsel ribbon thru the top of the mini red tag and place it on top with a pop-up dot.

And voila!  You are done.  You now have a complete Tag in a Bag!

It's Prima Time!

I know it's still 5 weeks away but I'm getting excited! I'm also getting ready.

Tuesday's Freebie Tag Kit & Wednesdays Pre-view

Tuesday's freebie is this adorable 'Traditions' Christmas tag kit, yours FREE with a $15 purchase!

Everything is already cut out, embossed and stickled for you. All you have to do is put it together! Features BoBunny's Blitzen line. Today only, while supplies last. One per person.  Keep watching tomorrow for Wednesday's freebie!

Traditions Tag Instructions:
Let's start with the tree.  It has already been embossed for you using a cuttlebug and Christmas Tree embossing folder but we will need to put the silver tinsel ribbon on.  Put your preferred glue on one tip of the ribbon (I used my dry runner to get it going) and attach it to the back of the tree near the top.  Once it's secured, start wrapping it around the tree, securing it with a drop of wet glue on the back side as you feel it needs it.  I glue about every other turn.

Once the ribbon is in place around the tree, use pop-up dots and place the tree onto the largest piece you have in your kit.  It should look like this....


Now, you can trim off the edges of the tree that overlap your tag if you'd like.  I trimmed the trunk but I left the overhang of the tree itself alone....I like coloring outsite the lines.

Then take the presents and oranament, and assemble them like so...  I used pop-up dots for dimensions and slid some elements under others and some on top of others. 


Now we need to assemble our title.  The letters spell out 'Traditions' and have already been run throygh a xyron and have adhesive on the back for you (I'd be lost without my xyron!!).  All you need to do is place them onto the blue background provided. You will notice that there aren't any dots for the i's....this is because I used my Cinnamon stickles to make the dot once my titled was laid down.




Before you place the words onto the tag, thread the cream colored rick-rack into the hole at the top of the ornament and fan it out to a V shape.  Then place the title in between the V for dimension.  You can see a close up in this next picture.



Then attach the remaining ribbon to the top of the tag using the square brad provided and voila!  You are done!  Now your tag is ready to be used as an embellishment in your next project....or give as a gift!

Someone turned the heat off.....

It got cold here in Dothan!  Wow!  What a great day to come hang out at your fave scrapbooking store and play!

Another year come and gone....

Well, it's hard to believe that another year has passed and the Christmas season is upon us! That is, for all of us that aren't nursing those Black Friday bruises, broken bones, and pepper spray burns. We are looking forward to the new year here at Scraperience as we make plans for our first recipie exchange club meeting and the first meeting of our second Artist Trading Card Group!

For now though, we have brand new printed vinyl designs featuring , Pink, Black, Red, and Crimson houndstooth, Zebra stripes and more. Our regular vinyl colors have expanded to around 28 as well with some new arrivals, like copper, selling quickly. Not to forget the many new kits we have in the store. The most popular one being the kit of the month challenge (if you plan to participate, get yours early...we have been selling out very quickly), where your entry could net you a cool $40.00 gift card!
